About GPT Image 2
GPT Image 2 is OpenAI's current native image model. OpenAI has already removed DALL·E 2 and DALL·E 3 from its API (May 2026) and names GPT Image 2 as the direct replacement for GPT Image 1 Mini and GPT Image 1.5, which retire in December 2026. On getvivix it runs in three quality tiers — Low, Medium, and High — each unlocking its own fixed resolution set, up to 3840×2160 at the top tier. It accepts up to 16 reference images in a single generation, enough to hold a product's shape, a character's face, or a brand's style steady across a full edit or a whole batch instead of re-describing it from scratch.
